May now be the opening of a new mind than has been the commanding thought? Two hundred plus years of war and acts of the destruction against the injustices in the earth surely are draining the strength of the American Revolution and the for-bearers of the Age of Reason. If we do not seek to bring others to understand the ideologies the Fathers of Political Liberty created and as citizens our young try to understand what shall we do? Any thought can be lost without constant reminder.
The reasoning of the revolution is a people have a right to call to office those whom they would choose. And in the event they recant the decision if the nation as a great majority they may be able to change. In the ages past from the Pharaohs on down dictated their will to the people naturally obedient because of force, even death or unholy tortures. In the present age we are approaching as a new opening of the mind we struggle with thoughts and emotions that are overpowering in the least. What does the revolution mean to people in a county that has had political ability enough to have had free shores for what to us seen to be endless amounts of time. However we don’t realize the difficulties in the experience of our American ancestors. They choose to first pledge themselves to each other in the commitment of obtaining a new government knowing the incredible dangers they we putting themselves and their families to. Yet they did not back down, I believe on their death-bed. How much it cost one another yet did without regret.
In this present age with increased knowledge creating new sensations in every station in life it is easily coerced from our minds the perils we encounter every day. Our nation has survived working and toiling away the days of hard labor and suffering even going to death at a wage that the most humble beggar would have difficulty to eat, drink, and be merry. But today is our greatest opportunity to create a mind of enlightenment and provide peace among our mighty Nation and in considering the long term blessings, the world with us. We can never forget the sacrifice of others and not be unwilling to endure hardships. I am not speaking of useless turmoil and eternal anxiety. As a people would we benefit from the heart of our forefathers in their sufferings and understand on a personal level the reasoning they were following and the purpose in the objectives they undertook. When undertaken these noble souls were not having the thoughts of their being at peace for their lifetime and after going to their graves in together. When the creation of this nation was formed I am quite sure the tea party at the golf club was not the concern. They were creating an entirely new Political Thought. And the experiment called America still stands of made in those foundations.WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU

Can we temper our reasoning with all the delights of today with the mind’s eye on the objective of the Fathers? If we fail to do so we will lose our struggle and perhaps not in the generation we can see but if forgotten today and always will never be recovered. To me Luxury leads to laziness and complacency. I am not suggesting inflicting upon you untold pangs and dread. However if we simply choose to forget the suffering of this nations predecessors we are damning ourselves eventually. The weekend in Scotland is great and the Sun in Acapulco is awesome. Do you realize you are showing the world the fruits of labor well done? Not a problem. How would you feel in their place? Angry or spiteful. Or even hatred because of the demeanor of the show off. Think of the opportunity we throw away by suffering ourselves to be glitz and glamor when we all want to be able to impress. How important is it really?
Let us never forget the workings of the Mind in an American culture. If we did not have a Revolution we surely ought to now. Look what we have accomplished. Unknown and endless fruits of the labors of liberty. The thought I like to keep is a fusion of the spirit of evangelism the revolutionary Father in producing such a Nation to be free at the price of their lives with the mystical and wonderful fruits of our undertakings understanding the cost of millions of lives for each person to enjoy. But NOW IS THE QUESTION? WOULD YOU DO THE SAME IN THE EVENTS THEY SUFFERED? AND WOULD YOU DO SOMETHING, NOT EVEN FOR YOUR OWN FAMILY, BUT THAT GUY DOWN THE STREET YOU HATE? HAVE A FREE NATION FOR ALL AND NOT JUST YOURSELF? AND DO SO FOR ALL PEOPLE NOT THOSE YOU LIKE? AND DO SO FOR THE FUTURE OF ANY PEOPLE NOT JUST THE PEOPLE YOU CARE TO SEE FREE? CAN YOU DO THIS AND STILL BE FREE FROM REGRET? OUR FATHERS DID AND SO CAN YOU. I BELIEVE YOUR HEART IS AS BIG AS TEXAS IF YOU REALLY THINK YOUR SELF TO BE. AND YOU WILL HAVE MORE LIFE AND HAPPINESS FOR A GREATER ETERNITY.

I Forgot. Don't pay attention to much of the author and the rhetoric but the message in it. At least the ideology of how and what this country is and will be as well as was a short while ago. Theoretically speaking of course. Now African Americans are free. In 1776 They Were Not. In 1776 Women were property. In 1776 Indentured slaves were forced to keep contract even though they did not sign. In 1776 only white aristocrats were allowed to vote and have public political power. In 1776 Children were forced to work without education and no way was for them to get an education. In 1776 To think of learning you either had to have great wealth or superhuman Intelligence for the time. People were treated Without mercy for Debts Owed. People in prisons had NO rights. The poor had no relief only if a church would help, but not often. Crime was rampant and there were no police officers. Need I continue. Yes, I agree. Things will be just the same as they always were. Stephen
